The Fox and Flower

Looking out the back porch on the Trinity River, we were inspired by the serenity and feeling of security of the setting to create the Nest. We foraged grapevine, wisteria, oak galls, and sumac on a local ranch. We lovingly nestled lilies, bromelids, brunia, jack-in-the-pulpits and others into the security of the nest.

Deep indigo represents the sixth chakra, harnessing the powers of intuition, inner wisdom and extrasensory perception. What better way to describe this purse we lovingly crafted for the Flower Show. Carefully weaving Australian flax to create the purse, in which we nestled roses, astrantia, thistle, celosia.
